What is cosmetic tattoo
Cosmetic Tattoo is also known as micro-pigmentation or permanent makeup.
It is a non-surgical procedure where small amount of pigment is placed just under the top layer of the skin. The skin then heals over the pigment sealing in the colour and creating a waterproof barrier.
It is a cost effective and time-saving alternative to constantly applying make-up with a pencil or brush to the eyebrows, eyelids and lips.
The objective is to create a subtle enhancement which will give you several years of care-free, waterproof, run and smudge proof makeup.
Does it Hurt
To minimise pain, We use a strong numbing/anaesthetic agent throughout the procedure. We constantly checks during the treatment if you are feeling any pain and apply more anaesthetic if required.
Many clients comment that they are surprised at how little they actually felt.
Is it safe
Cosmetic tattooing is a very safe procedure.
The cosmetic tattoo machine is a small, pen-like device that uses completely disposable parts. All needles, tubes, chambers, caps, casings – anything that comes into contact with your skin is brand new and sealed prior to your treatment.
We use an iron oxide pigment (not carbon ink like regular tattoos), which is natural and safe to use.
